WHAT IS ANNUAL ROI?

Annual ROI % is based on a Drop’s revenue earnings performance over the last trailing 12 months. It is calculated using the formula below. To break it down:

Annual ROI(%) = (Distribution Per Unit ÷ Total Cost Per Unit) × 100

Annual ROI (%): The return on investment expressed as a percentage for the last trailing 12 months.

Net Distribution Per Unit: is the amount of YouTube revenue distributed per unit net of all fees for the last trailing 12 months.

Total Cost Per Unit: is the amount the investor paid per unit.

For example, let’s say that you invested in the hypothetical “Big Money Channel Drop”, with a minimum investment of $31 and over the last 12 months that investment yielded $2.41. We can determine the annual ROI percentage by taking $2.41 and dividing it by $31 x 100, which results in an ROI of 7.79%.

How does this work?

Through the GigaStar Market platform, YouTube Creators can offer a percentage of their YouTube channel's future revenue during a drop -- a public offering that remains open for a minimum of 21 days.

During a drop, Investors can purchase rights to a revenue share percentage. After the drop successfully closes, the YouTube Creator receives the funds raised and Investors receive monthly revenue payouts along with special Creator perks, such as access to a private Discord channel.

After the anticipated 2024 launch of GigaStar's secondary market, whenever an Investor sells a CRT, the YouTube Creator may be entitled to receive additional fees.

What’s a CRT (Channel Revenue Token)?

In traditional investing, Investors buy shares. Comparably, on GigaStar’s marketplace Investors buy Channel Revenue Tokens (CRTs) which represent rights to revenue share securities offered under Regulation Crowdfunding as determined by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.  Each CRT digitally represents rights to a percentage of a channel's future YouTube revenue. CRTs also unlock additional perks for the Investors who hold them.
